Catherine walked down to the edge of the black lake whistling a tune to herself. She found a good sturdy tree and sat down, back against the trunk and put her feet out in front of her. Thinking about the start of term and looking forward to learning all the new and exciting things she will learn. Wondering where all the other students were at. She knew she had gotten here very early before the start of term but few students had arrived since then.

Annabelle left her office a short while ago and decided to take a walk around the grounds. Somehow her feet led her to the edge of the Black Lake. It was a favorite spot of hers a student and she always enjoyed it. Standing there on the banks of the lake she looked out over the glossy water and enjoyed the view. Hearing something behind her she turned and looked, seeing Catherine there she smiled and strolled over. "Hello Catherine. Enjoying the time before the start of term?" She asked in a light voice.

Standing quickly she looked up at the Headmistress. "Hello Professor. Yes I am enjoying it. I am anxious for term to start. Its probably just first year jitters but I can hardly wait. I've been studying in the library and trying to learn as much as I can before the start of term." She said all of this in a rushed fashion much like she was nervous talking to the Headmistress. She looked down at her feet, she was moving one foot around in circles in the dirt behind the other, and did not even realize that she had tucked and folded her hands behind her back. She guessed even being a pureblood wasn't going to make it any easier when faced with talking to a teacher casually.

Chuckling a little to herself Annabelle Replies, "No need to be nervous Christina. I promise you I am a fairly laid back person. I am happy that you are excited for school. I understand your family has high hopes for you. I am sure you will achieve them. Have you met your fellow new students yet? I believe their names are Melaynie and Norra. Both also First Years. Melaynie is also in Gryffindor. Norra is in Hufflepuff. They both seem like bright young ladies and I'm sure you three could become friends rather quickly."

"No I have not met them professor. I will go and see if I can find them now! Thank you for telling me they were here. Have a good day professor!" She called out as she ran up the hill through the grounds and into the castle. She was excited. New students, one in her house! Finally she wasn't going to be all alone here.
