Good Morning First Years! One by one, come forward and place the sorting hat on your head. When the sorting hat calls out your house, please join your fellow house mates at their tables. **Instructions for submitting your Sorting Hat Test will be found at the bottom of this post.**
Oh, you may not think I'm pretty,
But don't judge on what you see,
I'll eat myself if you can find
A smarter hat than me.
You can keep your bowlers black,
Your top hats sleek and tall,
For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can cap them all.
There's nothing hidden in your head
The Sorting Hat can't see,
So try me on and I will tell you
Where you ought to be.
You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart;
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil;
Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;
Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means
To achieve their ends;
So put me on! Don't be afraid!
And don't get in a flap!
You're in safe hands (though I have none)
For I'm a Thinking Cap!

C: Of course I’m going. Win or not, I’m not a coward.
D: Fighting is against the rules, even illegal duels. I’m telling a teacher straight away!
7: You are sitting at the window in your common room and notice that some students are trying to sneak into the Forbidden Forest. What do you do?

A: In the Ministers Box.
B: With my friends halfway up the stands.
C: At the very top of the stands, it’s high up there, but at least I have a great view.
D: On the ground row, with binoculars so I can study the moves of every player.
Sorting may take up to 24 hours. Please be patient. Do not pester the staff for your results or beg the staff to be placed in a certain house. Begging the staff to be placed in your favorite house, or telling the staff that you want a certain house is spamming and the sorting hat has a reputation for placing students in the exact opposite house they ask to be in.
